Binary package hint: udev
I recently updated my PC to karmic and added a DVD drive to the PC. The problem
is that there is no /dev/dvd node (or link) created for this DVD drive. Instead
there is a /dev/cdrom3 which links to /dev/sr1.
I believe this is the reason for failed DVDplayback in totem. Although I am not
sure if this is the case.
