You should install it through synaptic or with apt-get:
sudo apt-get adobe-flashplugin
Besides, there is a new version of the plugin available on current
Jaunty. Do you still experience the bug with those?
I am marking incomplete, since I cannot reproduce the bug, and the test
system of the reporter is fairly old. However feel free to reopen it if
you feel that you still suffer from this bug.
