I've forwarded this bug upstream for you to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23387 - please subscribe yourself to this bug, in case they need further information or wish you to test something. Thanks ahead of time!
Also, I notice you have a lot of parameters set in your xorg.conf; it is possible one of them could be putting the driver in a state that causes the artifacts. Can you see if disabling one or some of them make the artifacts go away? In particular, I'm suspicious of using greedy migration since it often has been seen to cause corruption problems. ** Bug watch added: freedesktop.org Bugzilla #23387 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23387 ** Also affects: xserver-xorg-driver-ati via https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23387 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-ati (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-ati (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged -- [KMS][R300] Screen artifacts on X https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/413259 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
