Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
The Volume control audio output will not stay at its adjusted value
following a re boot. Every time I re boot I find that the Audio has been
turned down to 0%.
I am running Ubuntu 9.10 Alpha 3 with latest patches which I assume takes it up
to Alpha 4
Kernal Linux 2.6.31-6-generic
GNOME 2.27.5
Memory 2.0 GB
Processor AMD Turion(tm) 64 Mobile technology ML-37
Acer Farrari 4000 Laptop
Audio hardware listed as follows in Sound preferences - Internal Audio 1
output/1 input "Analogue Stereo Duplex"
Following a reboot I found my sound preferences had the volume output
set to 0% (not muted), I increased this to 50% and rebooted. following
the reboot it was again set to 0%.
