era, No, I don't have a ´encoded-kb.elc´ on my box. go figure... There is not even the 'international' directory:
~$ ls /usr/share/emacs/22.2/lisp/international/ ls: cannot access /usr/share/emacs/22.2/lisp/international/: No such file or directory I really don't have a clue as to why it doesn't exist, as I said, the problem with Emacs started out of the blue a couple of days ago. Don't know how to get Emacs working Ok once again... Tried, out of desperation, doing an aptitude reinstall (something I never had to do on a Linux box) but even that didn't work. Perhaps I can try an aptitude remove, and then a regular install? Or fool the process by creating the international directory, and pasting an 'encoded-kb.elc' file that someone might upload? Thanks. -- Cannot open load file: encoded-kb https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/415186 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
