Fabio, thank you for the reply. Sorry for the lack of clarity. I do not know much about linux. I am now thinking that the problem I am experiencing is not baobab's fault, but rather a problem with gtk? Could that be right? Attached are two screen shots. In the first, you can see the "Location:" that I was talking about and in the second you can see what happens in Baobab after I open a non-existing folder.
