I've got a TT11LN/B; it's got an usb id 0af0:7601 also, and is working
out of the box under Karmic alpha 4.

The only strange thing is that the battery has to be in the laptop;
otherwise it won't even appear using "lsusb"...

Note: I've opened bug #414833, as echoing "0" on 
/sys/devices/platform/sony-laptop/wwanpower doesn't turn the 3G modem off and, 
in my oppinion, it's wasting battery when not used.
