Binary package hint: network-manager
whilst testing karmic alpha 4 I noticed that 3G modem was no longer
working on my eee pc. The mode is detected by the nm-applet and all the
settings seem to be ok, apn 3netaccess etc. when clicking on the 'three'
connect item in the nm-applet menu the icon spins and both green dots
appear but it never completes connection.

I updated to the ppa because I thought it might help, Im getting the
same problem with it and the old version
