Binary package hint: usplash
With usplash version 0.4-35, X does not work on my Thinkpad X40 (intel graphics
adapter). Neither with the vesa driver nor the i810 driver. The last line in my
Xorg.log is:
(++) using VT number 7
It just hangs there forever.
If I remove "splash" from my kernel command line, everything is back to
normal. Also, using the 0.4-34 version everything is also fine.
