Why set this to invalid, please? This is a valid bug, the rhythmbox volume slider messes up with the system volume and a lot things have changed in karmic with sound output, I found a number of similar bugs, e.g. totem also messes with the system volume. If you set this to invalid, please say why or hint to some other package against which this has to be filed.
