Public bug reported:
The documentation explains that you can set kernel parameters with the
kopt command. This way they should be preserved even after a kernel
update, e.g.
#kopt=max_loop=64
should make it always possible to mount more than 8 loop devices.
but after running update-grub this line is ignored and stripped from
menu.lst.
I appreciate any help.
