Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg
While my monitor tells me a current refresh of 85Hz, the only options I have in the Screen Resolution are 50 and 51Hz.. monitor: 1280x960 86KHz 85Hz while Screen Resolution Preferences window shows 51Hz. If I change that to the other available option, 56Hz, the monitor enters a "new mode" (doesn't show the resolution) working 60Khz and 60Hz. As the screen flickers I assume 60 being correct. However it still isn't the resolution I have chosen from the Screen Resolution Preferences window This is odd.. ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Screen Resolution shows wrong refresh rates https://launchpad.net/bugs/82995 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
