An FYI to all , We have 2 options:
1: ask upstream to hack the shadows appropriately [tough]
2: Let Ubuntu carry a small hack on its own [easier] ;)
If anyone can convince upstream to fix this , it would be better . You
can get more of their attention on irc rather than bug reports ! Thanx
