** Attachment added: "Pidgin error dialog"
 http://launchpadlibrarian.net/30608536/pidgin_image_size.png

** Description changed:

 Binary package hint: pidgin

When selecting a global avatar in Pidgin, you get an error message if
the image is too large for one of the protocols that you are using.
Instead of an error Pidgin should ask you if you wish to resize the
image to match each protocol (perhaps it should cache a copy of the
appropriate image size for each protocol?).

 Error message text:
-

+
 Could not set icon

- The file '/home/matt/Pictures/General/ubuntu-1280x1024.png' is too large for
Bonjour. Please try a smaller image.
-

+ The file '/home/matt/Pictures/General/ubuntu-1280x1024.png' is too large
+ for Bonjour. Please try a smaller image.
