Thanks for your work. Some comments :
- You don't have to remove commented lines on rules, some of them are here for
good reasons.
- Please provide the .diff.gz of the new version instead of a debdiff.
- Do you test the build of the new package on karmic ? Debian reported a
failure with gcc-4.4 (current version on Karmic)
- Also, it will be nice if you can forward your changes to Debian (at least the
debian/watch).
