Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Intermittent inability to see choices within pull-down windows. Using
the HTML application "OGame", by Game Forge, in Frankfurt. OS is Ubuntu
9.04
These pull-down windows normally offer a choice between 10% and 100% in
10% increments. The contents, after a few minutes using Fire-Fox, will
not show, but one can use arrow keys, or number-pad keys. There are
approximately half-dozen of these windows. They will work shortly after
starting OGame, then will stop. Rebooting the desktop works again for a
few minutes. It also seems to help by selecting "Help" > "Report a
Problem".
MOST IRRITATING!
I will provide screen captures if that will help. I built my first
computer in 1980, a Sinclair kit, with 1k RAM. Beta Tester for Win 98
and OS/2 Warp: savy-ish. 2 years Cisco Academies...
