Can you explain what tool is available under Gnome for this? I'm currently trying to set up an old laptop where Ubuntu fails to load a working ALSA sound driver, and hoped to get some info from alsaconf on the correct module and IRQ and the like... I had done this already once with Debian, but as kernel and ALSA have changed much since then, those infos are outdated it seems. Having alsaconf or something similar for this under Ubuntu could help a lot! -- Don't drop alsaconf https://launchpad.net/bugs/54262 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
