I've installed the patched kernel on Ubuntu Netbook Remix - Karmic and now I've got sound on my headphones and speaker!!! Thankyou!!
I added to my alsa-base.conf options snd-hda-intel model=toshiba (model=ALC272 also works) No luck getting the internal mic to work however with that. alsamixer gives the option for capture input source to be D-mic or Ext- mic, but these don't seem to work. strangely enough model=auto seems to give different options for the mic and I can see on the levels that it is sensing sound in the internal mic, but it won't play back audio. -- Realtek ALC272 not working in 9.04 but its working under 8.10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/389040 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
