You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance. ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Incomplete -- Nvidia Proprietary Driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/346765 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. Status in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Hello, Unbunto 8.10,up to date. I start a new thread because this involves the Nvidia drivers and tvtime. When I installed II,it correctly detected and set the screen resolution and refresh speed. I tried to load the "recommended" Nvidia proprietary driver, but it would not load,so I loaded the other three digit one(7xx) and it worked. I was using the tvtime player. Sometimes,it would correctly go to full screen, sometimes the full screen would go to the "fit" setting. The next time I booted, the screen resolution and refresh speed were incorrect and I could not reset either or both. I rebooted, and the correct resolution and speed returned, but it unloaded the stations from tvtime. I can get either the correct screen resolutions and speed without the tvtime or the tvtime with incorrect resolutions and speeds, but cannot get all correct in the same instance. --------- Thank you. -- Nvidia Proprietary Driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/346765 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
