Howdy, and thank you for taking the time to help improve Mythbuntu by
reporting your issue. I am closing this ticket because it sounds like a
problem with either the video profile that is selected, or else an
overloaded cpu due to other items on the system. If you still have
trouble after trying the Slim profile and optimizing other items,
members of the Mythbuntu forum
(http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=301) would likely be able to
help narrow down the issue better.
