I also think that having grub legacy as the default for 9.10 is
important for it's success.

Grub 2 has failed all the real world tests I have put it through and
until it's matured it is going to cause a lot of people trouble. Adding
it as an option at the end of ubiquity install (in advanced menu if
wanted), would enable people to continue testing it until it's fully
ready - no one wants to see a Ubuntu main distro in the world that only
installs on a select few peoples PC's, so take the time to test this
properly team, it isn't worth the new GFX for the lack of stability ;)
