Well, I can tell you I did a clean package bare metal install, and
applied the updates immediately afterwords.   I didn't install
anything else before testing.  I can reinstall to see if I can
replicate the problem.  I can also provide more specific hardware info
if asked (Dell xps 420) I do know that the Jango support lists the
following:

Jango works on the following browsers:

PC:
Internet Explorer 6 and up Download here
Mozilla Firefox 1.5 and up  Download here

Mac:
Mozilla Firefox 1.5 and up  Download here
Safari 3.1 and up Download here

As you can see Linux is not one of the OS listings...But I do not know
why a browser app would not work on a particular OS.
