I feel like cursing in triumphant despair. What does the external
amplifier option even do, anyway? Sound works running 9.04 on a live
cd. I somehow screwed up my settings while messing around with sound
fixer how-to's and can't access the alsamixer any more, so I'll probably
just do a clean install. Daniel T Chen, you are godly. Blessings on
you both and your families, friends, and minor acquaintances.
I'll do a search later for what the external amplifier does, but if you
feel like giving a small explanation or a link, it would be appreciated.
There's 8 hours of my life and two weeks without sound I am not going to
deal with again. How does one change the bug status to completed?
