Public bug reported:

Using Ubuntu Jaunty with Firefox version 3.0.13 I've noticed that the
Firefox spell checker always flags "etc." as an incorrect spelling even
though it offers it as a correction alternative.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Find a textbox and enable spell checking
2) Type "etc"
3) Right click the bad spelling and select "etc."
4) Watch as is still says "etc." is wrong as continues to offer you "etc." as a
correction.

I'm using the "English/United Kingdom" dictionary.
