Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-mount

[Problem]
The "DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply" error is returned sometimes
when unmounting the CDROM.

[Discussion]
I was going through a set of CD's to see what was on them. When I invoke the
'Eject' action from Nautilus it prompts for the administrator password.
Periodically (about 10-15% of the time), I would enter this, and when clicking
the Authenticate button instead of ejecting the cd it would display this error
dialog. (Actually, it took clicking Authenticate twice; the first time didn't
seem to do anything.)

I'm able to reproduce this issue reasonably easily by just cycling
through ejecting the cd, re-inserting it, re-ejecting, etc. about 10
times.

The error message is:

"DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a
reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a
reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply time
out expired, or the network connection was broken."

The network connection seems to be just fine, so perhaps it is due to
one of the other causes.

Note, this error dialog is also described in bug 352270, however the
symptoms are slightly different. The error message is also indicated in
bug 337695, however that one seems to involve a hard drive not a cdrom,
and the steps to reproduce and symptoms are quite different from this.

** Affects: gnome-mount (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
