Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: wicd
Using Jaunty and an Asus netbook 1000he, Network manager could not
connect the wireless. However, using Wicd(which uninstalls network
manager) I am able to connect. One draw back is very specific...when you
first boot up Wicd finds and connects my wireless network, but after a
few minutes I notice the monitor as low , but the interface sees it
strong and of course I can't browse. I need to go to the GUI disconnect
and reconnect manually then the wireless stays up and running
indefinitely. Any ideas?
** Affects: wicd (Ubuntu)
