I'm running Karmic (last updated ~ Thu Aug 27 20:00 UTC 2009).
Recently I tried to reboot, but the system got hung (not really, please
continue reading) with the message
* Waiting all remaining processes to terminate...
The system is not really locked, apparently some script is waiting some
condition that never will meet, presumably.
I can switch between ttys but all gettys are gone, so I can't do anything to
further investigate what's going on.
