Sorry, when I saw it was a .deb file I had already sent de message. I had no problem to install and it worked fine. I have an Acer Aspire 5738
Fn keys work too, but I found a couple of isues: * when using the Fn keys and you're near the less bright side it moves very slowly (doesn't occur near the more bright side) * It has a curious behaviour when connecting and disconnecting the power adapter: sometimes changes brightness, sometimes not. Sometimes changes too much, sometimes just to the half bright. And sometimes it changes even if you don't do anything. I hope it would help. I'm not an expert user, buy I offer my simple-user experience.
