I think I am having a similar bug, I am on 64bit koala up to date. I have
random issues with my cdrom drive. I am unable to open it.(!)
I've just burnt a cd and now I have problem to open a drive again. Command
"eject" does not work, which for most times works, but now I am really stuck.
HW button on drive is not responding, eject netiher, only when "eject -t" I
hear some noise in cdrom drive.
Anyone getting the same problem?! I am forced to reboot my PC cause of this bug
2.6.31-8-generic #28-Ubuntu x86_64
What can I do to fix it? :-(
