Public bug reported:

This bug lasts from ubuntu 8.04 to ubuntu 9.04.

Sometimes USB-ports die. You can't connect mouse and so on although they
not totaly disables - power is still on them.

For now I can reproduce this bug. To disable USB port you just need two
things:

1. notebook Toshiba satelite M55-S139
2. Nokia E71 with USB cable.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Load Ubuntu
2. Check the USB (hmm, use a mouse for example) works fine.
3. Connect phone. On the phone select Connect PC to web.
4. Try to use USB - it's dead now, it' dead.

On Windows XP all works fine so I think the hardware fine.

Kernel version:

Linux mobile 2.6.28-15-generic #49-Ubuntu SMP Tue Aug 18 18:40:08 UTC
