Mr. Bruce Harrington,
With my last comment I explained that I was not be able to supply the requested
lspci and Xorg.0.log for Ubuntu 9.10, since 9.10 does not install on my Hewlet
Packard 713n PC.
All the Ubuntu releases subsequent to 7.10, including Ubuntu 9,10, terminate
the installation when reaching, what I suspect is the Xorg portion of the
installation. The installation with the Live CD does the same thing and stops
at the same point.
You can see, Mr Harrington, that it is not possible for me to accede to the
requested files if the 9,10 Release does not install and the PC behaves like a
useless junk with no access to any use of the Keyboard.
I hope that sometime in the future Xorg will finally work properly and I will
be able to enjoy the features of the new Releases.
Yours,
Gaetano Arena
