could not produce second output, but found the following while watching
the gnome-power-manager in verbose mode:

- unknown key /apps/gnome-power-manager/backlight/brightness_ac
I'm not well-versed in code, but "unkown key" doesn't sound very good
any thoughts? entire output attached as txt.
