Compaq CQ50-120EP

nvidia 185.18.36

I had the same problem in 9.04 jaunty.
Hibernation ok, suspend/resume with problems:
suspend works, but when resuming, a lot of errors concerning ext4, I had to
shut down.
I remember that suspend/resume worked but I cannot tell in which version of
kernel. I also updated the bios meanwhile, not sure if that could bring some
trouble.

I'm running karmic now and tested suspend/resume and it didn't work:
what happend now was after resume just a black screen and the mouse cursor.
I saw this and gave it a try.
Just added pci=nomsi to my kernel boot options.
It worked.
And resume is very fast.
