Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nfs-common
I use Dapper on server and i want to use NFSv4/krb5. I found that server ignore auxiliary groups. Only UID and primary GID. The same bug is reported here: http://linux-nfs.org/pipermail/nfsv4/2006-May/004256.html Probably problem is in svcgssd_proc.c: ------ /*XXX: want add_supplementary_groups(secname, sname, cred)? */ cred->cr_ngroups = 0; ------- I think that new version (Edgy Eft) has resolved this bug. I also found some patches, maybe not for this version: http://linux-nfs.org/pipermail/nfsv4/2005-August/002412.html Is it posible to use nfs-common from EdgyEft in Dapper or is here any other way to solve this bug in Dapper?
