Public bug reported:

Bug in Jaunty:

When I try to set my ieee1394 preferences in kino, I find that I am
unable to do so because /dev/raw1394 has the wrong ownership. It is
root:root instead of, say, root:video. This means that I have to change
it myself, and I have to do it each time because I can't remember how to
make the change permanent.

What should happen: The end user shouldn't have to think about
permissions at all except perhaps (at a stretch) for choosing, via the
GUI, to be part of the video group.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
