This happens to me with or without tsched=0
Pulseaudio doesn't even start up, even if I wipe ~/.pulse and ~/.pulse-cookie.

I have 3 audio cards:
* Echo Audio Gina 3G
* Intel ICH [ALi M5455]
* USB Device 0x47f:0xad01

The USB device is the USB converter for my Plantronics headset.

Here's what I did to solve this:
I unplugged the USB audio device, then started pulseaudio, then plugged the USB
adapter back. And now it works.

One last thing I would like to mention is that this started happening after I
had added this line to my /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf file:
options snd-echo3g index=0
I had to do this to force the card to always use index 0 (and I had to do this
because pulseaudio doesn't detect it automatically and I have to add it
manually in default.pa).
Maybe it has something to do with this.
