Public bug reported:
On the Feisty Herd Live CDs the bootsplash no longer shows a progress
bar that denotes how far along the boot process is. Instead a small
section of bar bounces back and forth until the machine boots or you get
frustrated and restart. Without a progress bar or kernel messages it
feels a lot like running Windows XP. Which is really not the intention
right?
