Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: network-manager
Apple PowerBook G4 (5,4)
Ubuntu 7.04 (PPC) with latest updates as of (05/02/07) includi
Broadcom 4306 WLAN chipset (bcm43xx driver)
The network-manager applet shows "No network connection" yet the
interface is up and running just fine. At the moment I have to configure
it manually with iwconfig and manual dhclient to get an IP address.
/etc/network/interfaces shows:
auto eth1
that's all.
iwconfig output:
lo no wireless extensions.
eth0 no wireless extensions.
