X crashes are the fault of either the graphics driver or of the xserver.
Applications using X can only expose errors in the two components.
So that we can properly file this bug against the correct driver
package, could you please attach a copy of /var/log/Xorg.0.log and
/var/log/Xorg.0.log.old after an X crash, as well as the output of the
command lspci -vvnn please? Thanks in advance.
