Public bug reported:
Hotpluging on the Ultrabay z61t (and probably numerous other ones)
dosen't work on Fesity with the exception of extra batteries. It's my
understanding that kernel 2.6.20 has everything needed for this to work
on these laptops (both in ahci). There is information on how to make it
work via HAL at

I think it comes down to two things:
1. telling libata to not ignore atapi (cdrom) devices and not let the ide layer
take them later.
2. getting proper hal support, so when the ultrabay bayonet is pulled out to
umount the file system, and eject the device and the rescan the bus when
bayonet is put back in.
