You haven't heard back from me because all the bugs/feature requests
that were against the kernel had the automatic "hey we updated the
kernel, keep checking to see if things have been fixed" message.

In any event this kernel module is not sufficient.  It is a wireless
base, on top of which wireless USB is built.

To have actual functioning Wireless USB you also need a wireless USB
module (not present in Ubuntu) and a user space daemon to deal with
pairing and security (not present in Ubuntu).  Consequently the status
the status can not be described as "Fix released".  Maybe "Hey one day
this may just work if the upstream projects happen to do it, keep
randomly testing"
