I compiled the (relatively) new F-spot from SVN Jaunty, f-spot 0.5.0.3 --- bug Jaunty, f-spot 0.6.0.0 --- bug fixed
It now works! Thanks developers! However when compiling I had to work around the fact that the build-dep mono dependencies for f-spot 0.6.0.0 were wrong in the Jaunty repos.
