Do you get anything printed to the terminal when you call the command?
Do you literally mean "never" or does it just take very long?
Once it hangs, can you please do
strace -vvs1024 -o /tmp/apport-gtk.trace -p `ps ux|grep apport-gtk |
grep -v grep|awk '{print $2}'`
let it sit for a minute, then press control-C, do
bzip2 -9 /tmp/apport-gtk.trace
and attach /tmp/apport-gtk.trace.bz2 here? Thanks!
