Since landscape-client is a proper Ubuntu package nowadays, this should
be moot.
Also, Apport now provides the option to file bugs against an upstream
product (e. g. for PPA versions) if you ship a package hook that sets
CrashDB. Please see /usr/share/doc/apport/package-hooks.txt.gz and
/usr/share/doc/apport/crashdb-conf.txt for details.
