Please refile the bug using the command "ubuntu-bug -p linux" or follow
instructions on the wiki pointed to by Brian. There is an upstream
commit that fixes the issue with CD/DVD not being recognized, it is hard
to say from your bug report what version of karmic you are running, but
I have a 64 bit kernel in
http://people.canonical.com/~manjo/lp397906-karmic/ that you may want to
try and see if that fixes your issue. I am closing this bug as invalid,
please refile with ubuntu-bug command if the problem exists with latest
karmic kernel.
