Looks like Jaunty (9.04) has the fix fs: new inode i_state corruption
fix, which fixes the issue reported in
http://lkml.org/lkml/2008/11/14/121. (SHAID:
7ef0d7377cb287e08f3ae94cebc919448e1f5dff) and noted by you on comment
#19. Also, since this works for 2.6.29-rc1 and 2.6.31-rc4, the the
karmic kernel should have the bits that should fix this problem. Shall I
close this bug as wont fix? and wait for the fix to appear in the next
upgrade release?
