Hi Ryan,

Sorry for the delay, so I've added a reboot quirk patch for your
specific system and uploaded a *Karmic* test kernel at the following:

You should be able to do a quick test with this karmic kernel from
within your normal Jaunty install.  Just be sure to boot with the
"nomodeset" boot option to disable KMS.  After you boot into this new
test kernel (without specifying any reboot=b boot option), try to reboot
and confirm that it doesn't hang.  Let me know your results.  You'll
obviously want to uninstall this test kernel after you're finished
testing.  Assuming the results are positive, I'll work to get this
applied to Karmic and considered for a Jaunty SRU.  Thanks!
