Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.17
2.6.17-10-generic does not find the sata drive, so it cannot mount the root
partition.
2.6.17-10-i386 does find it so the boot is successful.
Attached you can find
- boot log of -generic (taken by camera)
- boot log of -i386 to see how it should work
- lshw, lspci -vv output.
