Hi,

It is not a bug in fwknop at all. I am almost sure it is due to modprobe
which spews messages to STDERR, such as:

WARNING: All config files need .conf ...

when loading the netfilter modules for the first time.

Could you do the following steps:

    - Unload your netfilter/iptables modules
    - Run the test_chainmgr.pl script
    - Check for STDERR.

In my case, if STDERR contains the above warning message, it fails.
However, fixing the modprobe settings, it works fine. IPTables::ChainMgr
assumes an error occured if STDERR is not empty.
