I am not so certain that it is totally the non ubuntu software pakage that is
all the problem because it worked up to ubuntu 8.10 and can still be started by
command line after boot up in 9,04. I think it might be a problem with the
/etc/rc.local script not working at boot time.
When reporting the bug I tried to find what pakage rc.local belonged to, in
synaptic but it did not show anything.
The problem or bug that belongs with the UPS software is not recognizing that
ubuntu's rc.local cannot be found in /etc/rc.d because rc.d doesn't exist.
So I think that there is part of the problem in ubuntu 9.04, so can this bug be
changed back to new?
